To all those that voted – whatever the pessimists say, you did make a difference.
5 states eh?
Samy out!
Kelantan retained, Kedah, Perak, Selangor and Penang won most by a huge majority.
Tides are changing – let’s hope the future is a positive one.
BN was denied the crucial 2/3rds majority.
I hope the opposition ruled states can function under the reigning government, if they cut off their funding again?
The opposition are working together, PAS, PKR and DAP – DAP get’s Penang, PKR gets Selangor. Both will hope for input from PAS too.
It looks good, non-racially based politics should be coming – one nation ftw!
Well – let’s wait and see, it’s still early days.
It’s Kedah, not Perlis. 🙂
Lets hope the opposition dont screw it up.
By the way, does anyone know what’s happened to the Malaysiakini site. It’s inaccessible. Except for the mirror sites which havent been updated since 430 am.

Well done to the opposition!! The hard work has paid off.
Malaysia must care for all races.. but Malaysia must FIRST change its racist prefrential laws to reflect this… at the least government should show some leadership in this matter.

However, this would be a huge task for them to undo everything before them. If they cannot please the Rakyat, then there would be no second term nor a better Malaysia

No doubt our country’s politics will take a more interesting turn in the future. Let’s hope the opposition doesn’t let us down
