Not sure why these Kopitiam places are getting so popular, they are starting to crowd the shopping malls…
I stopped by this one to try out the Hainanese Chicken Chop, it was pretty good but I doubt it’s authenticity. Anywhere I can get a good Hainan Chicken Chop?

I’ve not taken the chicken chop (not my favourite) before but from a fellow friend who is rather picky on food, he mentioned the one at UncleLim’s (in the same building, too!) is better. Have you tried that?
As a hainanese, my favourite chicken chop would be the one sold at Yut Kee at Jalan Dang Wangi.

hainanese chicken chop = western style hainanese chicken without rice??
Yupe. Yut Kee will be one that is still serving the old school Hainamese Chicken Chop and Pork Chop. Or you can ride KTM to the real Kluang station kopitiam but not sure whether they serve chicken chop.

Looks really nice and healthy especially the peas!! my fav greens. 🙂
There’s a place in Jalan Pasar, opposite where Leela Ratos clinic is but diagonally opposite, more towards the centre where there’s an alley to go through and then you reach the market area. That restaurant used to serve EXCELLENT lamb chop, chicken chop, etc. in the 90s. The same guy also sold frog soup or something. It was the best ever, even compared with the overpriced trash sold elsewhere.
don’t waste $$ coming to kluang station kopitiam as chicken chop is NOT on the menu.
Hi there, stumbled upon your very interesting blog 🙂
You may want to try the chicken chop at Restoran Sing Nam, located within walking distance from Masjid Jamek LRT station – very close to HSBC’s credit card centre.
