A while ago I was in Singapore so I decided to head to the famous Bugis Street market, and on from that to Little India as it’s nearby.
Again I was limited to a 50mm and a 90mm prime at this time as I had no other lenses!
Bugis Street is an explosion of colours, smells and tastes with all kinds of things on sale and all kinds of characters selling them.
I managed to capture a little bit of the hustle bustle and what was going on there, a little bit of street photography 🙂
This is the famous Bugis Street market, always busy..
Bugis Junction, just outside where you come off from the MRT.
A massive drinks vendor at the entrance to the market with every conceivable juice you could think of.
An old man trying to sell tissues at the entrance to the market, no one sees him..
I got myself a Dragon Fruit from the stall.
Streams of People..
SEX Life?
Freshly made apom balik, I chose mine to be made with banana! It was lovely.
All kinds of clothes, cheap too!
Crocs are taking over everywhere..
More to come soon with Little India.
Ah bugis is one of my favourite places, but its getting super crowded by the days.
When I’m there, I like to eat at “Ayam Penyet House” its located facing the shaw towers. One of the best Ayam Penyet I’ve ever tasted, do try it, if you can take hot stuff that is 😉
And dont forget to stop by Hajah Maimunah if you are feeling peckish. Its around the vicinity of the sultan mosque. Plus I’d think you’d enjoy the old and nostalgic scenes. You’d feel like you’d step in Singapore in the 50’s
ah i pity the old man… sales jobs are the hardest jobs to do in the world..
The last time I was at Singapore, Bugis Street were being refurbished to the current condition in the first picture. Now only I know how it looked like.
This sure bring back the memories. Wish I could come to Singapore again. For leisure. 🙂
Croc shoes! O_O
Sex Life? I have a vague recollection of having one of those once. In a galaxy far far away … or something like that … 🙂
