Yes indeed I’m in Stinkapore Singapore with my Mom! It’s cool, no time to update though really see if I can grab an hour to do it tommorow, here’s a taster from todays trip.
Yes I got out of Manila and came straight to Singapore to meet my Mom.
It’s really hard shooting with two prime (fixed) lenses, 50mm and 90mm. I tried a super wide angle lens in Peninsular Plaza yesterday too, oh I love it..10-20mm.
We tramped around Chinatown today, pretty interesting place. A bit commercialised nowadays though like everything else.
Mom!
Pagoda Street and the Hindu Temple, some mad stuff going today with people walking on coals.
Must sleep now almost 3am zzz, headache.
Have fun..!! i miss singapore so much.. ! so i am really envying you now.. 😉 donch forget to eat all the local stuff.. and take pictures for me.. 😉
If you’re hanging out the Boat Quay area, you can try their super huge Sri Lanka crabs, but taste wise not as good as in KL.
Hey you hate Singapore that much?
Why?
I like the colour composition of the Chinatown pic. Nice!
enjoy yourself! make sure u eat fish soup!
I think it is very cool that your Mum makes frequent trips to
check up on youvist you. I am trying to save up to bring my mother across to KL next year – but not during haze season!Nice pics, too.
lol.. you gotta be careful with those tags, Intensecure. Just helping you close the strikethrough here.
hey!! you should check out the twin durians aka the Esplanade. beautiful 🙂
nice shot of pagoda street 🙂
well, someone said singapore = singer-poor. i hope it’s not true.
That pagoda looks awesome.
@v0ices – cheers! I thought that it must have been one of those internet “tubes” 😉
Now, of course, I am going to have to find out how to actually use them….volunteers?
I actually saw you today at Sim Lim but just didn’t had the balls to approach u. Got a good deal for the Altec Lansing Atp 3?
hey.. wat u doing in singapore ?
Intensecure – it wasn’t me. ST corrected it
You got some super sharp lenses there 🙂
I spot a voluptous curvy SPG in black dress with sum white old git in the left corner of the pic ? Am I right? If yes – damn, why you no take pic of the frontal position.
Awww, come on, Singapore ain’t all that bad… Not all of us are like the infamous blogger(and your incompetent arch-nemesis) Xiaxue.
Stinkapore? I kinda feel u deserved what happened to your car window and camera 😀
Mama Bok: Hehe sorry didn’t take any pictures of food this time, was more into sight seeing, and was too ravenously hungry by the time I ate from all the walking to take any shots!
wm: Yah I prefer the Chili Sri Lanka crabs in KL, more variety too and only RM18 per kg not SGD45!
Jo: Who said I hate Singapore?
Kuzco: Thanks!
Kelvin: No fish soup this time.
Intensecure: Thanks dude, make sure you do, she’ll love it. My Mom does like to
check up on mevisit frequently 🙂 And it was me who fixed your strike 😛xpyre: I did check out Esplanade, no time for pics though as it was the end of the day, just stopping by Raffles on the way home. I’ll do it next time when I have my tripod, planning some Macro in the Botanical gardens too.
Nicktay & James: Thanks 🙂 I really like that one too.
MJ: Don’t be shy, say hello! Not sure, seems good, got them for SGD68.
Ferdinand: Seeing my Mom!
senbai: hehe it’s knowing how to use them too, the 50mm f/1.8D isn’t that sharp unless you hit the right spots!
Aunty Ningku: I take pics of places, not spgs and hairy old ang mohs 😛
Lowzeewee: Nah it’s not all bad, don’t get the wrong idea 😉
tika: Karma is a great thing, I’m sure something lovely will happen to you too 😀
If u don’t hate Singapore..
then why the Stinkapore?
ShaolinTiger is just trying to be controversial. He is desperate for attention, and he wants to grab it from us by doing such an indespicable thing. Just you watch out, you bleady ‘angmoh’ man! Have a tight grip on your new camera, and look around you after parking your car… I may just be lurking around. =P
Just making fun, I thought you guys had a sense of humour too, obviously not 😛
