Well the next folder just mainly contained a collection of random food pics, so I thought I’d share them with you.
Some of the stuff my cooked when I was back.
Argh off to Dubai again this afternoon at 4pm, hopefully will be able to come back soon and double hopefully I’ll have Internet in the room so I can keep posting..
First up is the classic English breakfast, this time with an added waffle, yummy, this is more like a brunch version as I don’t tend to wake up very early..
Next is some simple pesto pasta with mushrooms and some antipasta for flavour.
Of course mushrooms feature heavily in everything as they cost a fortune in Malaysia and aren’t that nice, apart from Shitake.
As we’d been eating so much some days we ate light, like this a nice simple bacon, mushroom and cheese omlette with some fresh bean salad and homemade bread.
A lot of meals were finished off with some nice cheese and coffee.
In the silver foil is Boursin one of my favourite cheeses, shown below, in the blue streaked cheese is of course Stilton! And the one that looks like normal cheddar is a local cheese from Hereford made with dry hops, yummy!
Eaten with grapes, cheese biscuits, celery and apple slices.
Boursin
Hopefully I’ll get to update again soon, the next set will be the party pictures!
Boursin is gooddddd! Especially the garlic one. Mmmm!
are the mushrooms magical too?

Terenceg: Hurm, where when what do they serve? Let me know when I’m back.

Chheeeese…makes me stomach growwl… ;p
James: Yah it was super lovely.!
Eve: Yah would kill for a nice chunk of stilton and a glass of good red wine right now.

Hmmmm….that means u didnt have a good meal out of a lot of mushroom. There’s loads of them that is delish ..depending on species and how you cook them of course. Even a simple fresh button mushroom is nice is done properly.
foodcrazee: Sounds like you never had proper fresh mushrooms from a cold climate if you think the stuff in Malaysia can be considered good heh, I don’t find ANY of the button mushrooms here passing as good..
Heavenly! What wouldn’t I give to dig in….
As I am always stressing – its high time we got to eat food thru the net…. *slurp*
