So after our trip to Cambodia, we were back in KL, wondering what to do.
After a day doing nothing much, sorting out the pictures and taking them to be processed, tidying up the appartment and lunch at Wong Kok Chan Char Teng..it was time to head into KL for a drive around and check out the Chinese New Year lights.
Then of course, as tourists do I thought we could go to KLCC garden, see the fountains and have a beer at San Francisco Steak House, so that’s what we did! (I have to say they had the lousiest greasiest crappiest onion rings and potatoe skins I’ve EVER had)
It was actually totally packed in there, people all over the place, luckily I chose a place to sit that pretty much masked out the hoards of commoners drinking cans of coke and littering the floor like their father owned the place.
It was a pleasant evening, stayed there until the fountain show was done, very relaxing taking in the KL night views, I meant to take my Mom to Luna Bar, but I ran out of time.
The fountain show is very nice and is worth watching now and then.
My Mom was very happy to be there 🙂
This is my favourite Fountain Shot, it’s just right 🙂
And of course the cheesy typical KLCC shot from the base.
I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing evening with a visiting friend or relative.

KL so far. Meh.
You ought to try the parks in PutraJaya instead.. much nicer and far less crowded.
ST, do you know anything about the *permanent* SEX VIDEO link on the top of spymy.com’s front page? It’s hosted via your reseller webspace.
I mean, WTF dude. Does spymy have to sink so low to promote itself? Especially at the EXPENSE of another’s very personal misery?
This is a piece of shameless, unethical, and harmful piece of bullcrap. It’s also illegal to distribute pornography. There ARE underaged websurfers. Why the hell is spymy doing such a irresponsibe, tacky attempt at self-promotion?
I hope you can contact whoever is responsible to help the blogosphere retain some class, man. Realy disappointing.
Jay: Well it was a bit far, and I’m allergic to Cyberjaya having worked there for more than a year..Plus wanted my Mom to see KL and the twin towers at night.
aw: I didn’t mind so much since the link to the video was removed, now it’s just a bunch of links to posts about the whole incident. The video hasn’t been there for a long time. I’ll see if I can do something about it.
There’s a spot at the garden (by the bridge I think) where you can take a great shot of the two towers with a subject standing “right beside” the buildings
u didn’t pay KY a visit? 😛
Friends from other countries simply love the place. Its also a nice place to meet up with frens working with Petronas and other companies around the area.
KY: Have to check that out some time.
spiller: If KY was still in the office at 9pm I would have fainted.
Adam: Yah it’s a very unique place and just a cool place to hangout.
Just wanted to know. what camera model did you use to capture the KLCC picture? Thanks.
Vince: Just my trusty old bog standard Canon Powershot A70
