Hi There ! I’m from KL. I stumbled upon your blog whilst speaking to a friend about bloggers in m’sia. He then msn’d me your website. The reason I read your stuff is because I love reading opinions/views that are objective and well thought thru. Keep up the good work and keep doing what you’re doing.

Hi ST, i’m one of your silent readers. Have been following your blog since June i think. Anyways, my ASL is 25/F/PJ.
Have fun in Redang. Cheers.
I’m probably one of yur noisiest readers … and appologies if that’s annoying … but hey, I like thinking about thing, and hopefully my comments are helpful to peopleand make them think or are at least funny sometimes. (or something)
Wandered over to your site about a year ago as I am an Internet friend of Suanie (as you probably know) and well, basically followed her links to other interesting blogs and stuff that i like to read.
My interest in Malaysia comes from the fact that I am the third generation of my family to have lived there (and in Singapore), though I haven’t been back since 1972 (ooo, I am old), though I plan to return one day for a visit.
You probably know a lot more about me from my usual ramblings on here and other sites that we mutually frequent.
[And I also was a Network Engineer who knows a little about security etc, so we have other things in common, though you don’t talk much about your work here].
I guess that’s about it. 🙂
i am pelvis presley. i know you love meh!
been reading your blog daily since February until i got real busy… so now it’s weekly… *sighs* you’re funny to read!! cheers..
I’m the chick who harrased you in PD and then said she wanted you to spread food on her and lick it off on her blog.
Have a good one!
not a regular here, just drop by once a blue moon when i actually have access to an internet connection.
was amused by the XX fiasco. she’s a bloody irritating bitch.
Use to lurk at your blog, til I met you at the training centre. And that was when I intro myself….. and saw u again at the curve……

I find your blog interesting. More interesting than Xiaxue’s blog that is getting less and less interesting with each entry.
hi ST. you know me. 🙂
going to redang with suanie? have a good time there! i was there once many years back and love it.
Is this a chance to publicise our blog?
A regular reader from Sillypore!
Cheers!
Twenty something. works in Tv and does freelance writing on a part time basis for kicks and of course a little extra money.
Loves watching TV and loves to dabble in amateur/sense and sometimes senseless writing in cyberspace.
Your blog is one of the few which I take the liberty to read on a daily basis. Love it! Good stuff…:)
i was enthralled by your defending my country with such zest. it’s nice to know that you found us worth your time in cyberspace. kudos, Shaolin Tiger.
Hi, I’m Vlad. And I don’t exist.
Which makes this comment pretty much insignificant.
i read your blog coz you the man.
but you dont have to tell me who you are coz i already know! heheh
hi st, started reading few months ago and enjoy reading your blog especially UK blogs, found ur blog through one of ur fren’s blog. can’t remember exactly which one..just went to UK for 2 weeks..feel excited still 🙂
I came from Peter Tan’s blog. And I came from Peter’s through Suanie’s. 🙂
I’m a Malaysian studying in Brisbane.
You’re a figment of my imagination too? That’s two of us! 🙂
I am sorry.
dabido: waiiiiita minute… you’re no “starving artist” like it says on your profile… Network Engineer! busted! figures. starving artists aren’t on the IntahNed alla time. They’re busy setting up “installations” out of trash cans.
Waaah. This is so fake.
cheers! af a great weekend
Have a great weekend at Redang !
(Guess which one is my dad.)
HAHAHA.
I’m so amusing.
My name’s Wan Zafran, I’m a KL-ite who is currently in Melbourne, Australia, majoring in Software Engineering.
I drop by because I find your site to be a fascinating read. That, and the recent war between you and XiaXue had something to do with it too, heh.
Cheers mate!
hi st you know me, the smart chick from singapore. hahahaha… do you have my new blog addy? oh yeah i think you do!
hey, if you don’t exist how did this comment get here??!!!
stumbled upon your blog about a month back. goes pretty well with my morning coffee.
cheerios from down under 🙂
AW3 – If you read what I wrote earlier, I “WAS” a Network Engineer … and Um … okay, I will be again soon, as I’m starting my own company up to do that sort of thing – BUT I am and have also been these things – Graphic Designer, Studio Musician, Musician in a Band, Published Poet, artist (painter).
I’ve spent the last two and a half years wasting my time and money trying to figure out what to do with my life next.
I’ve just decided to go back into Network Engineering as I can earn about AUD$150,000 a year or so contracting my brain out.
Hopefully, I’ll finish my novel(s) and stuff in that time and then I can decide what I really want to do … the Network Engineering is just to earn some extra cash while my brain is flip flopping between trying to decide on a future life style.
BUT, I am a starving artist, because while I was wasting time and money trying to decide what to do over the last two and a half years I’ve lived off a shoe string budget (partly due to a big loan I had, which went really bad when I lost a lot with the stock market crash from September 11 – I turned $72k into a $40k loan … so I’ve been paying that off – thus starving) – so, I’ve done NO Network Engineering in that time, but have done some paintings, recording of music and writing (which reminds me, I have a freelance writing assignment I have to finish in the next month).
So, at present -NOT a Network Engineer – I am a starving artist. In near future, I will be CEO and Network Engineer and hopefuly out of the red and into the black again.
[PS don’t follow the advice of your finiancial advisors … if I had of followed my brain and gut instinct, I would still have had my money, and not got into trouble]
Hope all that makes sense. Cheers.
ST – Sorry for using up your bandwidth with this long explanation.
Beerbabe – you’re imagining things again! There is no comment (and no spoon either … how am I going to eat BREAKFAST! ARRRGH!) hee hee 🙂

I stumbled upon this place a few months back. I was in search for hacks =p. Heh. Got addicted and had great time reading your rich content.
A regular but silent reader. Started dropping by quite recently, about the time you went to UK.
(:
i am me.
smooth here….not a regular reader but will occasionally drop by…lol..nice blog u have…enjoy reading it…^^
Been around ever since the XX thingy…Find your blog rather entertaining. And i saw you at KLIA and at redang. 😉
Interesting.. glad you are taking it all in stride and you’re on your way to become an ex-starving artist. Hopefully a productive artist in the future.
Although, we can go town on whether “starving” and “productive” are necessarily mutually exclusive, depending on whether the definition of art includes commercial recognition. And then, on whether that recognition might only occur after the artist shuffles off this mortal coil.
We’ll leave that for when there is beer around.
AUS$150K a year? That is a huge chunk of change. Move back to Malaysia. Live like a pseudo-prince. Invite us to your lavish parties with sashimi served on women. Oh wait, they don’t have it here. OK, fly us all to Japan.
I don’t think I can earn AUD$150k a year in Malaysia. (Or can I? Is it possible?)
Anyway, have to get the business up and viable before I will have any great chunks of money. Till then (and until my debts are paid off), I am still going to have a little struggle.
But, other than my Sept. 11 Misfortune, I am usually very good with money, so shouldn’t have too much trouble once the ball is rolling again. (I hope) 🙂
Hey save some money, take some lessons you can go too 😉
Work hard, play hard!
Dim Mak…much more powerful than Dim Sum 😉
